I love that Camus quote. I’m excited to read what else you have to say along these lines. I’m in my forties and working through finding similar life balance myself.

And I have a big e-cargo bike for town errands and I love it! One thing I didn’t know is that the battery is very susceptible to cold, even just around 32 degrees can drain the battery. Might want to check how yours does if you’re planning to park it at a trailhead for a while when it’s chilly you might not have an assist on the way back. I’ve seen some good solutions for this online. The reason I know about it is from pedaling my zero battery 80 lb e-cargo bike plus 40 lb mdog plus myself back from the local brewery trying to go fast enough to stay warm but slow enough not to trigger an asthma attack and I hope you find that image as funny as I do. My dog was not impressed lol.

Congratulations on your new bike! I consider mine , a foldable Tern, my "e vehicle" since I don't drive my 25 year old Subaru much and a new e car is not in the cards right now. It's amazing how much fun doing errands can be🙄🙂
